The built-in lithium battery charges via USB-C and lasts for weeks of regular daily use. When it runs low, a full charge takes about 1 to 2 hours using any standard USB-C cable.
The spice chamber detaches from the body and can be rinsed under water. The ceramic burr is also washable and will not absorb odors or flavors. Just make sure the electrical body stays dry.
Twist the external dial at the bottom of the grinder. There are 5 settings from fine powder to coarse cracked. The adjustment is external, so your hands never touch the spices inside. Clean and hygienic.
